Out the Door in Philly

The CBS O&O in Philly has parted ways with one of their Anchors. 

KYW has not renewed the contract of Anchor Brooke Thomas.

Philly.com says that a KYW spokesperson confirmed that Tuesday was Thomas’ last day with the station, and that her contract has not been renewed.

Thomas joined the station in March of this year. She had her debut on Eyewitness News This Morning in April. She formerly coanchored Eyewitness News at Noon alongside anchor Jim Donovan.

Prior to joining CBS3, Thomas cohosted Tribune Television’s syndicated Eye Opener program out of Dallas. She also contributed to morning news programs in Lubbock, Texas, and Memphis, Tenn.
