Michael Grimm
Yesterday, FTVLive told you about Congressman Michael Grimm and the threats he made to NY1 Reporter Michael Scotto.
Grimm did not like the fact that Scotto wanted to question him about a federal investigation into his 2010 campaign fundraising. Grimm refused to answer and after the interview he threatened break him "like a boy" and throw him of "this fucking balcony."
Now Grimm says he's sorry for making those threats. He said that he called Scotto, who "accepted my apology, and we're going to go to lunch. We put it all behind us."
If I was Scotto I would make sure the restaurant is on the first floor, just to be safe.
You never know when the Congressman might try and throw you off a balcony.
Just saying....
A California Teacher was busted by police for having hundreds of snakes, many that were dead inside her home.
Investigators wearing respirator masks carried the reptiles out of the house by the score and stacked them in the driveway, reporters and passers-by gagged at the smell.
Reporters conducted interviews while holding their noses and trying not to throw up.
It still beats covering Justin Bieber.
Forget the Grammys, Oscars or Emmys, the Storm Awards are where it's at.
Sam Malone a Houston radio personality posted a video of Reporters covering the winter storm that dumped a dusting on the South.
Awards for Best use of Props, Best use of Grass were just some of the awards handed out.
Watch and laugh and how TV news likes to blow a few snow flakes way out of proportion.

FTVLive told you how WSB in Atlanta covered the paralyzing Winter storm that dropped 2 feet.....errrrr....2 inches on the city of Atlanta and shut it down.
Two days ago, WSB covered the story with 14 reporters all featured in a 14 person box.
Yesterday they upped the Reporters on the story to 25 and a 25 person box.
Now, our buddies at NewscastStudio have thrown down challenge for Today's coverage. Let's see if WSB can accept and deliver.
Proving that there is no original ideas in TV news, we bring you a couple of more stations that have jumped on the ice desk bandwagon.
By this point we have to wonder if the TV consultants are not involved? Telling their clients that the ratings will trend up if they just build and ice desk for their anchors to sit behind.
While WSB (Atlanta) is putting every reporter they have (plus the janitor) in a 25 person box, WXIA was building an ice desk.
And up in Minneapolis, KTSP has built their own ice desk as well.
And WRAL in Raleigh enters into the mix with an ice desk of their own:
I will bet anyone $20 that the ice desk in Atlanta melts before the one in the Twin Cities.
Any takers?
As much as Weather Anchors think their segment is so important, the truth of matter is everyone is just waiting for the end of the weather report to get the 7 day forecast. The rest is just filling time.
And it appears that even the News Anchors don't really watch the weather reporter either.
In fact one Canadian TV Anchor uses the weather report as a time to get in a workout.
Sheila Gray
WKRC in Cincinnati doesn't want to tip their hand, but many see what is about to happen.
Starting Monday, WKRC will move its 7-8 a.m. “Good Morning Cincinnati” newscast from CW Channel 12.2 to WSTR-TV (Channel 64).
The Cincy Enquirer asks, are they preparing for the arrival of Sheila Gray late next month, when her ”noncompete” clause with WXIX expires? My guess is that WKRC will expand its morning show to 7-9 or 10 a.m., and she’ll co-anchor with Bob Herzog, going head-to-head with her old Fox 19 local morning show.
For now, Channel 12 news director Kirk Varner will only say they’re moving the 7-8 a.m. newscast co-anchored by Bob Herzog and Tiffany Wilson to Channel 64 because of the success of the 10 p.m. news there.
Ratings have jumped for the 10 p.m. newscast since it moved Jan. 6 from Channel 12.2 to the more powerful Channel 64. Monday night the 10 p.m. half-hour news did a 4.8 rating on Channel 64, more than double its November average. Fox 19 averaged a 4.6 rating for the hour Monday.
Varner didn’t want to talk about what could happen after Gray’s non-compete expires Feb. 23.
‘We are always looking at the possibility of increasing our footprint in the morning… But I don’t have any date that it might go to a different time period,” Varner said.
Gray has been working at the sister Sinclair Broadcast Group stations in Dayton (Channels 22 and 45) since early September. Her last day at Fox 19 was Aug. 23. I can’t see Local 12 changing news anchors on its late newscasts, which have been No. 1 for more than 10 years. So I’m guessing Sheila will work mornings, where she was seen for 14 years on WXIX.
Stay tuned.
NBC's Al Roker spent a portion of the Today Show calling out the Atlanta Politicians and Officials for their lack of preparing for the storm.
Go get em Al!
....but I think this police officer is going to get some time off without pay.
WJBK (Detriot) Reporter M. L. Elrick was assigned to cover the city council meeting, when a Motown cop thought he would do his best to censor the news.
The video is up after the jump.

Joe Biden got all excited when he saw himself in the monitor and realized he was on TV.
John Boehner just wanted the whole to be over so he could get back to the tanning bed.
FTVLive told you 5 days ago that WROC (Rochester) Sports Anchor John Kucko was going to cover the Super Bowl while wearing Google Glass.
He might now have much time to walk around wearing Glass. Kucko is doing live hits for all the Nexstar stations from the Super Bowl.
And judging by all the mic flags he showed off in a Tweet, it looks like he's going to be there for a while.
Not much has been going right for CNN, but maybe President Obama can help turn things around.
The President has agreed to a sit-down with CNN's Jake Tapper.
CNN says the interview will cover the "economy, immigration, jobs, national security and foreign policy."
The sit down will start airing on CNN's New Day and be played ad nauseam throughout the day.
Well, that is if Justin Bieber doesn't do anything crazy.
