Are Viewers Growing Tired of Cable News?

Are Viewers Growing Tired of Cable News?

Whether it's the rhetoric from the Right (Fox News) or the squabbling from the Left (MSNBC) it appears that viewers might be getting tired of cable news in general.

The ratings for cable news continued its decline. In the month of March, every cable news outlet saw their numbers drop from a year ago.

Fox News lead the way in losing viewers. FNC fell over 30 percent from its 2012 numbers.

CNN wasn't far behind, shedding almost 30% of their viewers.

Anderson Cooper's Interview Turns Very Weird

Anderson Cooper's Interview Turns Very Weird

Michael Jackson's Doctor spoke to Anderson Cooper from his jail cell last night on CNN.

Conrad Murray not only spoke to Cooper via phone, he also sang to Coop.

Murray did not really reveal much as the hook to the interview was the wrongful death suit filed by Jackson's mother Katherine.

The interview was the usual crap until  it turned really weird.

Murray starts singing over the phone to Cooper, belting out his version of "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot."

The look on Cooper's face as he starts signing is priceless.

Idiot Thinks New MSNBC's Host is Too Light Skinned to be Called Black

While the country is divided on background checks for gun buyers, FTVLive is starting to think there should be background checks for Twitter users.

If you're in idiot, you can't get a Twitter account.

An idiot like Tim Graham.

Graham, a so-called media "watchdog" for the conservative Media Research Center, tweeted about MSNBC naming Karen Finney a host of a new MSNBC program to air on weekends from 4-5 p.m.

Fallon Inks Deal to Replace Leno

Fallon Inks Deal to Replace Leno

Reports say that Jimmy Fallon has closed a new deal with NBC that will pave the way for him to replace Jay Leno in the 11:35 p.m. time slot.

Fallon’s move has been rumored to be happening for weeks.

But NBC has stumbled once again with their PR and has refused to confirm the succession, or even talk about the possibility.

NBC's ineptness has been a gold mine for Leno with jokes about the situation and the NBC suits themselves.

It will be interesting to see how many in the media industry follow the AP's lead?

The AP said on Tuesday that it has decided to abandon the contentious term, which many Latino and immigrant-rights activists have long called dehumanizing. The wire service's decision is bound to be influential; it has perhaps the most widely-used style guide in the country.
