Dallas Anchor Stuns Kids with Sex Talk

WFAA Dallas ​Anchor Ron Corning stunned a pair of young children by talking about sex with them.

At least that's how the station's promo makes it look.​

JOB DESCRIPTION: WWLP-22News, Springfield, MA, a LIN Media station, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Assistant News Director.  The successful candidate will be someone who is highly motivated and can lead by example, as well as willing to be involved in the community.  Candidate should also possess good news instinct and demonstrate sound news judgment, including skilled in investigative reporting.  They also need to be able to recognize the value of and embrace internet, mobile, and social media. 

HOURS: TBD

LA Station Names new Managing Editor

Fox-owned KTTV Los Angeles (DMA 2) has hired Ramona Schindelheim to be managing editor of the station’s news department. She begins on March 25.

This will be Schindelheim’s second stint at KTTV, she was a producer there from 1989 to 1994. Most recently, she was executive producer of Business Day at CNBC. Prior to that she was EP of CNBC’s The Call, Power Lunch and Street Signs.

Her resume also includes senior producer at NBC’s The Jane Pauley Show, Business Editor at ABC News, Producer of CNBC’s Power Lunch, producer of WNBC New York’s Live at Five and a sitcom writer at Warner Bros.

MSNBC's Ed Schultz Wants to Stay Relevant ​

MSNBC's Ed Schultz signed off from his Ed Show and prime time cable news last night. Schultz swears he's not be demoted (even though he totally is) and says he's going to make his his weekend time slot the "best hours in cable."

“Well, I guess I wouldn’t want it any other way because we’re going to build those hours to the best hours in cable.” He vowed to stay loyal to the subjects he’s always covered on The Ed Show: “The people on the road, the stories, the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker, the middle class Americans who are fighting for a fair share.”

Got some bad news for Ed. We're guessing that the candlestick maker and the baker will be watching infomercials about baking and making candles while his show airs.​ 

​Oh Well...There's always the butcher.
