21st Century Fox is denying it so far, but word is that Roger Ailes is out at Fox News. Sources tell FTVLive that that Ailes and 21st Century Fox are putting the final touches on a separation agreement that will have the only CEO Fox News has ever had leave the network.
Interesting, Matt Drudge, who shied away from the story at the beginning reported that Ailes is out and walks with a $40 million dollar pay off. The story was posted on Drudge this time and then taken down. It appears that Ailes' side is feeding Drudge.
Earlier Today, word came out that Megyn Kelly told those investigating the sexual harassment claims against Ailes, that the Fox News boss sexually harassed her.
FTVLive reported the news and said it very well could be the deathblow for Ailes at FNC. Ailes lawyer Susan Estrich did release a statement about the Kelly claim, saying, “Roger Ailes has never sexually harassed Megyn Kelly. In fact, he has spent much of the last decade promoting and helping her to achieve the stardom she earned, for which she has repeatedly and publicly thanked him.”
Sources say that the two sides are putting the final touches on the separation agreement and it will be officially announced by the end of the week.
The end of an era at Fox News is this/close to being reality.
