Donald Trump had a goal of raising $1 billion dollars for his campaign to spend on advertising. But, now Trump says he doesn't need that kind of money.
"There’s no reason to raise that," Trump said to Bloomberg about raising $1 billion. "I just don’t think I need nearly as much money as other people need because I get so much publicity. I get so many invitations to be on television. I get so many interviews, if I want them."
So, in other words, Trump has no reason to buy ads on TV because he gets so much free publicity from them, why bother?
Just what every TV sales executive wants to hear.
And people wonder why sales and news don't get along?
