Stations Go Back to the Future for Sweeps

Back in the 1980's, one of the sweeps stories you could always count on, was a report on used car dealers rolling back the odometers on cars that they sell.

It was an easy story to knock out and it wasn't hard to find a dealer that was doing it.

Fast forward to 2016 and let's look at a sweeps story being done by Cox's WJAX in Jacksonville:

Now let's jump over to Houston and Graham owned KPRC:

Good to know that when sweeps rolls around, stations are still pulling out the oldies but goodies from 30 years ago.
