FTVLive FIRST broke the news (everyone else was stuck following us) of the WTOL staffers that were fired for playing the Cards Against Humanity.
FTVLive FIRST reportedthat on New Year's Day, the 7 employees at Toledo station were playing game at the station, when someone snitched on them.
WTOL owner Raycom's corporate HR got involved and the Toledo 7 were all fired, including 3 on air staffers.
The station refuses to talk about the firings, but one viewer has started a petition to bring back the Toledo 7.
The change.org petition has a goal of 500 signatures, asking the station to give back the jobs to the staffers that were fired for playing a game.
The petition already has over 400 signatures. And while it is great to see the viewers reach out and try to get the Toledo 7 their jobs back, unfortunately it's not going to happen.
But hey, sometimes it's the thought that counts.
