Lester Holt Stays on Top of the Ratings

Brian Williams' return might have got the headlines, but Lester Holt continues to get the viewers.
The NBC Nightly News Anchor was No. 1 again in total viewers and in key demos for the first week of the 2015-16 season, marking the broadcast’s 9th straight across-the-board win and 13th in the 14 weeks since Holt was named anchor.
That’s good news for the Holt, as this win came in the week of Pope Francis’ visit to the United States and the week former Nightly News anchor Brian Williams returned to the air to cover the Pope’s visit, but for MSNBC.
