CBS Shanks It by Dropping Feherty

After 19 years, CBS has parted ways with on course golf commentator David Feherty.

Feherty one of the most popular golf announcers is not having his contract renewed by CBS Sports. 

Feherty worked for CBS this past weekend, covering The Barclays.

Look for NBC to quickly grab the popular Irishman and add him full time to their coverage. Feherty already hosts a show on the NBC owned Golf Channel. It makes sense for him to join the network on the broadcast side. 

So far, CBS, Feherty nor NBC is making any comments.
