/WMC in Memphis took the wraps off their StormTracker 5.
No it is not a new Doppler Radar, it's a SUV, but according to the station, "Hundreds of people came out to see the vehicle that will forever change storm tracking in the Mid-South."
You would have thought that something that will "forever change storm tracking" would have brought out more than "hundreds".
After looking at the picture that WMC posted, I hope that extension cord going into the back door is really really long.
Otherwise, I don't think that StormTracker 5 is going to get very far from the station.
