Former CNN Anchor Busted for DUI

Here's a story you surely won't be seeing on CNN.

Former CNN Anchor Felicia Taylor was busted for drunk driving with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit after side-swiping another car in the Hamptons, police said.

Taylor was so drunk after the late-afternoon accident on Sept. 4 that she was taken to Southampton Hospital “for medical evaluation,” according to police.

Taylor, 51, most recently anchored CNN International’s “World Business Today.” She worked for WNBC-TV from 1998 to 2006.

Taylor was trying to turn onto Main Street in Sag Harbor when the crash occurred. She was charged with aggravated DWI.

“My client could not have fully cooperated with the authorities in the respectable manner that she did if she were under such influence,” said her lawyer, Edward Burke Jr. “The breathalyzer was administered three times . . . proof of an inaccurate reading.”
