CBS Names New GM in the Twin Cities

Ann Ouellette has been named Vice President and General Manager of WCCO, the CBS-owned station in Minneapolis-St. Paul, it was announced by Peter Dunn, President, CBS Television Stations.

Ouellette has served as WCCO’s controller since June 2003. She has been serving as interim general manager of the station since April of this year, when Brien Kennedy moved from the Twin Cities to become President and General Manager of KYW-TV and WPSG-TV, the CBS-owned duopoly in Philadelphia.

“Ann is a terrific leader and talented executive with nearly 25 years of experience in local broadcasting,” Dunn said. “During her 12 years as a member of the senior management team at WCCO, she has played a key role in upholding CCO’s great legacy and making it one of the best television stations in the country. We are thrilled that we are able to promote from within to fill this key position and look forward to having Ann and her colleagues lead WCCO to even greater success in the future.”
