Former NBC News Anchor Tom Brokaw is not going to talk about Brian Williams, no matter how many times you ask.

Many think that Brokaw played a key role in making sure that Williams did not return to the Nightly Anchor chair.

As for Brokaw's role? He isn't talking.

In and interview with the Daily Beast, Brokaw said, “It’s time to move on,” “I’m not really commenting on it,” “These are all private conversations and I don’t want to go beyond that,” and “I’ve been on both sides of this equation for a long time. I know how persistent you are, but you’re not gonna win this one.”

All he will say is that what’s done is done and he “think[s] the world of” new Nightly News anchor Lester Holt.

So yeah, he totally sandbagged BriWi.
