That's My Brother

Gay Star News says that this past weekend was an historic one.

The site says that Thomas Roberts became the first openly gay anchor of an evening newscast on a major US TV network on Saturday night when he hosted NBC’s Nightly News.

Roberts, 42, tweeted that it was ‘quite a big honor.’

His sister, Patsy was also happy to see her bro in the big chair:

There are a few openly gay evening news anchors on cable TV – notably MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon – but Roberts is the first for one of the big three networks.
