Getting Hitched

Former Good Morning America Anchor Josh Elliott is getting married this weekend to WABC anchor Liz Cho in California.

Page Six says that  Elliott is tying the knot with news anchor Cho in Montecito. The TV couple, who were engaged last summer after nearly two years of dating, are planning an intimate ceremony with family and close friends.

A source says: “The wedding will be near Santa Barbara on Saturday night at a private villa that they have rented for a week. It’s not a big showbiz wedding, but a small, romantic affair with their closest friends and family.” Guests expected include former “GMA” weatherman Sam Champion and Cho’s co-anchor, Bill Ritter.

Elliott, 44, proposed to Cho during a romantic 2014 European summer vacation just before Labor Day. “He gave her a simple gold band that was a family heirloom and meant a lot to him,” a source told us at the time.

“It’s been very low-key, and people may not have even realized she was engaged because she’s not wearing a standard diamond engagement ring.” She has been spotted wearing the heirloom gold band on her ring finger.

The two met when Elliott was a co-anchor of ABC’s “GMA” and Cho was at WABC-TV, where she remains and co-anchors weekday editions of “Eyewitness News.” The two tried to keep the relationship secret at first, but it became the talk of ABC’s news division.

Elliott now works for NBC.
