Signing Off in Sioux Falls

Longtime KSFY Anchor Nancy Naeve announced to viewers that she is stepping away from her role as anchor of KSFY Morning News.

Her last day will be Friday, May 15, 2015.

Naeve has been with the station since 1992. Back in May of last year, Naeve made FTVLive for her rant on the newscast at viewers that sent in nasty emails after the station broke into programing for weather coverage,

“Even though it’s been fun to interview celebrities and movers-and-shakers of South Dakota, I most enjoyed covering our ‘everyday heroes,’ people whose face you may not recognize, but without them and what they do for our communities, there would be a huge void,” said Naeve. “I love putting the spotlight on them.”

“Nancy is one of the area’s most recognized faces, not just for her work on KSFY, but for her involvement in the community,” said KSFY News Director Kevin King. “Her passion for helping others, as well as the high standards she sets for herself and others are what make Nancy one of the best journalists I’ve had the pleasure of working with.”

KSFY says they plan to celebrate Naeve accomplishments during the month of May.

Hmmmmm? Isn't that a ratings book?
