Denver Station to Bring Back Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart is returning to the Denver station that she left.

Earhart has been hired back at KUSA and will start covering morning traffic on January 4th. 

KUSA News director Christy Moreno informed the staff Monday that Earhart is expected to “pick up right where she left off.”

Earhart left the station in 2014 to fly a single engine plane around the world just like her namesake did.

Although for years, Earhart told people that she was related to THE Amelia Earhart, in 2013 sheacknowledged she is no relation to her famous namesake.
