Actress Melissa Joan Hart is working on a reality series with her family.
The show, which has not yet been picked up will follow Hart's family idea to open up a dessert shop named "Sweet Harts."
The sweet shop will be based in her hometown of Westport, Conn., and will focus on the family's efforts to re-launch the business after a failed attempt to open up shop (with other partners) in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
The series does not have a network attached to the project. It will be produced by Hart and her mother Paula Hart's Hartbreak Films and 44 Blue Productions, the producers of the Wahlberg brothers' "Wahlburgers."
So why the hell is FTVLive covering this story, which has no relation to TV news what-so-ever?
Why does she do that?
We have no earthly idea. But, this is the first chance we had to work her into the story and we are in the slow December news cycle.
So it's all good.
