Anchor Shake Up Coming to Buffalo Station?

It appears that WKBW Anchor Joanna Pasceri's days could be numbered as the main Anchor at the station.

The Buffalo News reports that the struggling Scripps station is going to (has) hire Ashley Rowe (pictured), who recently left her job as a reporter and fill-in anchor across the border in Toronto.

Born in Los Angeles, Calif., Rowe is believed to be a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. Sources say she was unlikely to come here without assurances that she would get a key anchor post. Those sources expect Rowe to replace Joanna Pasceri as WKBW's primary female co-anchor at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays.

Since Pasceri anchored the news at WKBW, it has never been out of last place in the ratings. Many expected Scripps to make a change much sooner than this.

But now, with another bad rating book, it appears that Scripps is getting ready to pull the trigger.
