Staff Duct Tapes News Director to Flag Pole

The staff at WDAY in Fargo, duct taped their News Director Jeff Nelson to a flag pole. 

It was all done in the name of charity. 

The station took part in a fundraising campagin for the United Way. As incentive to reach donation goals, General Manager Mari Ossenfort agreed to be pied in the face and Nelson allowed the staff to tape him to the flag pole.

The staffers had some whipped cream left over, so Nelson was also pied in the face.

We're guessing that the people that hit the ND in the face with a pie are now working the overnight shift at the station.
