Reporter Alex Bernhardt, of 9 News in Sydney, was attempting to interview a man after police found a grenade in his home.

It didn't go so well. 

Police found a hand grenade at this man's house today. When a 9 News reporter asked why, he exploded, attacking the reporter, Alex Bernhardt with an esky full of water.
