It's Meredith for Bob Tonight in Sochi

Matt Lauer gets the night off and Meredith Vieira is getting a shot at Olympic gold.

Vieira will anchor prime time coverage of the Olympics, taking the place of blood eye Bob Costas.

This will be the 4th night that Costas has missed because of pink eye.

Lauer had been filling in for Costas the last 3 nights.
