St. Louis ND Leaving for Scripps Corporate Gig

Sean McLaughlin, who has been the news director at KMOV since 2007, will be leaving next month.
At a meeting this morning, McLaughlin told staffers he has accepted a position as vice president of news for E.W. Scripps & Co. and will guide the news strategy for the company's television division.
Brian Lawlor, Scripps senior vice president, said in a statement, "Sean has a ton of energy and represents the leadership skills that motivate people to want to work hard and to want to win."
