As FTVLive told you, CNN Boss Jeff Zucker's latest strategy involves doing less news and more entertainment.
That includes also doing more documentaries.
Last year, CNN aired the doc 'Black Fish' and it did so well in the ratings, that Zucker was giddy enough to want to do more.
Last week, CNN aired their first documentary 2014.
'Sole Survivor', hit the air last Thursday according to Nielsen it finished in last place.
'Sole Survivor' came in third for the night in viewers (701,000) and the demo (289,000).
Additionally, the doc saw a significant drop compared to the much touted 'Blackfish' which Zucker hung 2013 ratings on (down 48% in P2+ and 39% in A25-54 demo).
