Former Tribune executive Lee Abrams and former WPIX News Director Bill Carey are some of the key people behind the launch TouchVision 24/7.

It's being billed as a digital news operation headquartered in Chicago.  

"TouchVision Network will have no on-air anchors or reporters; instead the story is the star," the startup says.

So in other words it's NewsFix formula for the internet.
