Weatherman's GF Busted for Assaulting Him

It appears that troubled Weatherman Mark Mathis has had another run in with the law, but this time he's the victim.

Police arrested Sara Horowitz after they say she punched and kicked her boyfriend, Mark Mathis. ​

Word is that the El Paso TV weatherman and Horowitz started arguing. According to cops, things escalated and Sara allegedly punched and kicked Mark, breaking his glasses and scratching his face.​

​Mathis is known for his unorthodox approach to weather forecasting. He gained notoriety while working in the Charlotte market where he was fired multiple times, most notably after a stint in rehab.

Horowitz also has a TV past. She finished 4th in Season 2 of "Hell's Kitchen" She also 

claims she was hired to work as his chef to Justin Bieber. 

Cops arrested her April 10 after the altercation with Mathis. She was arrested for assault/family violence and charged the next day with a misdemeanor.
