After the whole Erin Burnett hosting CNN's new morning show crashed and burned. CNN boss Jeff Zucker was back to square one.

It took awhile, but Zucker and CNN have finally decided that Kate Bolduan is going to be joining Chris Cuomo on the new (again) CNN morning show.

Bolduan was CNN’s congressional correspondent, covering of the U.S. House and Senate.  She also contributed to The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and other CNN shows.

"It is a huge opportunity to work on this new show," said Bolduan. "Knowing that we have the resources of some of the most experienced executives in the business, the backing of a brand like CNN, and to be able to sit alongside such great people as Chris and Michaela – I can't think of a better combination."

Well, Zucker could have thought of a better combination...but Burnett and her agent didn't play nice. so it was on to plan B.

The News reader on the show will be Michaela Pereira, who is joining the cable net from KTLA in Los Angeles.

Pereira, who's Canadian got her start on TechTV which was cable channel geared towards technology news.

Zucker has said from early on that fixing the Morning Show at CNN was a top priority.

"We were floored with excitement when we saw Chris and Kate together on screen, and by adding Michaela to the mix we feel we have something very special," he said. "We believe there is an opening to do news in the morning with a fresh, new voice," said CNN Boss Jeff Zucker.

Wait, Didn't he say that Jake Tapper was also a "Fresh, new Voice" along with being the new face of CNN?

I could swear he did.
