Why you should get a Raise Today

Do you work at a Gannett station? If you do, go into the bosses office and ask for a raise Today.

They can afford it.

The company television revenues of $280.2 million in the fourth quarter, 45.7% higher than the previous fourth quarter.

Of course much of that money was thanks to political ads and retrans fess. $91.2 million came political advertising during the last quarter of 2012 and $29.6 million in retransmission revenues. The Retrans fees are up a lot over the past year.

No matter how you look at, Gannett had a good quarter and is flush with cash. Don't you think you deserve some of that?
