A news crew from WUSA in DC were attacked while coving a story on a home invasion.

Photographer Danielle Gill and Reporter Bruce Johnson were on the scene and according to Johnson they were standing on the sidewalk immediately in front of the house, talking to the mail delivery person, when a young woman who had yelled at the crew earlier to get away, cames to the window to yell some more.

Johnson replied that they were on a public sidewalk.

The woman comes out of the house spraying mace and shouting profanities.

Johnson said punches were thrown and both and and his Photographer were hit.
