KTVT Sports Anchor Gina Miller broke the news on her Facebook page that she is leaving the station.

Miller says that she is moving to "pursue new entrepreneurial projects," but she did not say yet what those projects were.

Miller has been at the CBS station for the past 8 years and worked across the street at WFAA before that.

Here is her Facebook post about leaving the station:

Friends,

After working at CBS11 & TXA21 for more than eight years, I have some exciting news. I am moving on to pursue new entrepreneurial projects that I will share with you in the near future.

I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent working with the dedicated, talented and passionate team at CBS11 & TXA21. They are among the best in the business.

Covering sports in Dallas/Fort Worth was my childhood dream and is perhaps one of the greatest jobs in the world. Being a part of your lives every day was an absolute honor. I am living proof that you can do what you love and have fun in the process.

I am as much a fan of our DFW sports teams and personalities today as I was as a 14-year old cheering for them in my living room. We are lucky to work with and root for some of the most talented athletes, coaches and managers you'll ever find.

You can always get in touch with me on every social media platform available.

I hope to return to a TV near you soon. Until then, please keep in touch.
