Doubling Down in Columbus

On September 1st, in a Patron Only story, FTVLive told you how WSYX (Columbus) Anchor Cameron Fontana posted a straight-up ad on his social media for restaurant Bob Evans. BTW- I have only had food poisoning in my life one time, it came from a Bob Evans.

This wasn’t an ad that was discussed as something else, this was an advertisement for the restaurant.

You have to wonder how WSYX owner, Sinclair allows this to happen? But, it also should mean that any Sinclair employee, who wants to go out and sell ads on their social media, are completely free to do so.

The precedent has been set and you are free to do the same.

As for Fontana, he’s doubling down with another ad.
