The Unscripted News

WNBC in New York has pushed the syndicated Kelly Clarkson Show aside and will replace it with a news show.

WNBC’s Adam Kuperstein took to social media to say that the tiny staff is launching a show called the “News Zone”.

Kuperstein says, “The show is totally unscripted. So you never know what’ll happen!”

This was what he posted to social media:

“What started as a little experiment with a big idea — a way to deliver the news differently than you’ve ever seen before — is now a reality!

Starting today, News Zone is replacing the Kelly Clarkson Show (gulp) from 3-4pm on NBC New York.

It was always a long-shot. But thanks to our tiny (but mighty) team, and all my colleagues who have busted their butts, News Zone has grown into something we are super proud of.

The show is totally unscripted.
So you never know what’ll happen! (Double gulp)

But you’ll definitely get a peek behind the curtain, as we chase down the biggest or most interesting stories in real-time.

I’ll be your captain and i hope you’ll join us for the ride!”
