Goodbye to The Money Honey

Maria Bartiromo is out at Fox News Media after more than a dozen years.

Fox made the announcement on Thursday, just hours after Fox Business Network quietly aired the final episode of her signature show. As usual, the network offered no real explanation for her sudden exit.

“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12½ years,” Fox said in a terse corporate statement, “and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”

Bartiromo did not immediately comment on the exit. Her social media still has the banner urging viewers to “grab yourself a cup of coffee, and join us every morning for Mornings With Maria.”

While Bartiromo was once viewed as a pioneering financial reporter from her CNBC days, she torched much of her credibility—both inside and outside the Fox building—when she went all-in on Donald Trump and fully embraced election denialism.

Now that she is out at Fox, speculation is already running rampant that Bartiromo could land a role inside the Trump White House.

Stay tuned.
