A Change in The Weather?

Did WSVN (Miami) let the cat out of the bag when it comes to their talent?

If you check the job listings on the WSVN website, it says that they are looking for a Chief Meteorologist.

What’s interesting, I have seen nothing about longtime WSVN Chief Meteorologist Phil Ferro leaving the Miami station.

Ferro has been with the station for over two decades, and his bio remains on the WSVN website.

So, it appears that one of four things is about to happen.

Maybe, the station is looking to sack Ferro and are trying to find his replacment, before doing so.

Or, maybe Ferro is getting demoted and will no longer be the Chief.

It’s possible that Ferro has found another job and is getting set to leave WSVN when his contract comes up.

Lastly, maybe Ferro is looking to retire.

Hopefully, it is one of the last two, and not one in which Ferro is getting blindsided. Because, in this business, you never know.
