On Friday, WBNS (Columbus) Reporter Lacy Crisp had s story on the station’s 5PM newscast about a county commissioner reportedly acting inappropriately. WBNS obtained police body cam video of the commissioner at a Post Malone concert.

What was interesting, the Nexstar station ran the brief story in the 5PM newscast and promised viewers that they would have more on the story in the 6 O’clock news.

But, the 6PM show came and went and there was no story. Then if you went to the station’s website to see the story from the 5 PM show, it was scrubbed as well.

“This was a solid story. No reason to back off it, much less, SCRUB it,” said a station insider to FTVLive.

But, it appears that is exactly what the Nexstar station did.
