Rob Nelson worked at the No. station in the No. 1 market for six years. He also worked for ABC News on shows like “World News Now” and “America This Morning” and reported for “Good Morning America”.

He then took a job at Nexstar’s News Nation and it was been downhill from there. Nelson was one of the original hires back when News Nation was going to be a down the middle, non-biased news operation.

But, they didn’t work and News Nation tried to become a cheaper version of Fox News. Which, is also not working.

As for Nelson? He took a job with Scripps’ Newsy, and hadn’t been heard from since.

But, Next month he starts his job as Anchor at New Jersey’s public television station.

That is quite a slide down the industry ladder.
