KGO (San Francisco) Reporter Monica Madden was reporting on a long delayed project to build on the former home of the San Francisco 49ers "Candlestick Park."
The stadium was torn down years ago and all that has been there is a fenced off huge pile of dirt that has been neglected by developers. It's been an eyesore for years for the low income people who live in that section of the city.
They've long been denied any promised redevelopment. That part of the story was mostly ignored by Madden who instead wore a hat the company's marketing gave out for the site.
She wore the hat like she's a cheerleader for the developers. Like, what?? You're a reporter! This isn't a sporting event!! Objectivity out the window.
Sadly, this is an ABC O&O.
