Out the Door in Omaha

It’s 2 and out for Anna Behning at Hearst-owned KETV.

The Anchor/Reporter announced that she is moving on, after just a single contract at the station. Behning is solid in her work, so it’s not surprising that she is gone so quickly.

Two years ago I moved here, fresh out of college with a sports broadcasting background and had no idea how much this city would change me.

I’ve learned the importance of telling stories with kindness & compassion, finding joy even on the hardest of days & that the most meaningful stories aren’t always the biggest headlines. They are the ones that remind us that we’re human.

My time here has stretched me in ways I could have never imagined with moments that have challenged me + moments of incredible joy & answered prayers! Through it all God has been so faithful with His hand in every opportunity and person He has placed in my life. I could not be more grateful❤️

As I begin my next adventure, I do so with a full heart — Thank you to everyone who has made NE feel like home. My final day on air will be September 8. I can’t wait to share what’s next!!
