Losing the Edge

Insiders tell FTVLive that Nexstar has informed their Fox affiliates that they are no longer to use Fox News Edge.

FOX News Edge is a video content and news-gathering feed that is used by Producers to pull stories to help fill the newscasts.

Nexstar has pulled the use of network feeds and have directed stations to use News Nation’s feed instead.

Here is the internal memo that went out to the staff at WDKY in Lexington.

Speaking of News Nation, I went to Nexstar’s WDKY (Lexington) to watch their local newscast, streaming on the station’s website.

Instead of seeing anything local to the Lexington market, I was served up a hard-right leaning show from News Nation.

Viewers go to the website for local news and this is what they get?!
