It appears that the GOP, along with the Trump administration, has come up with an idea to try to help the Republicans out in the midterm elections.

They are planning to hold a “Midterm Convention,” which would be similar to the Republican National Convention, which is held in presidential election years.

Is it a good idea? I can’t answer that, but I can tell you the dates they picked are not good.

JD Vance is set to speak at the “Midterm Convention” on the evening of September 9th. That also happens to be the first night the NFL regular season kicks off with the Patriots playing the Seahawks at 8:20 p.m.

The next night (September 10th), Donald Trump is set to speak. There is another NFL game scheduled with the 49ers against the Rams at 8:30 p.m.

Did no one from the GOP look at the NFL start of the regular season before booking this?
