From Fake News to Full Support
/Here in Florida, the primary election was held on Tuesday, and for one of the congressional seats that was up, Donald Trump gave his “complete and full support” to Cory Mills.
Much like Trump, Mills faced allegations of dating violence, sexual misconduct, and financial conflicts of interest. It makes sense that Trump would give him his full support.
But Mills lost, and it took Trump just minutes after Mills’ defeat to give his full support to someone else.
Trump also tried to claim that despite his “complete and full support” to Mills, he told him to drop out of the race. I don’t buy that, and I think most people don’t either.
Anyway, Trump has quickly changed his “complete and full support” to former WOFL (Orlando) Anchor Ryan Elijah.
Elijah is more than happy to be Trump’s sloppy seconds when it comes to his “complete and full support”.
Of course, as Trump has spent decades attacking the very profession that Elijah was a part of, Elijah is more than happy to now look the other way and bow down to Trump.
It would have been nice if Elijah stood up for journalists and shunned Trump and his support. But sadly, when you crave power, you’re willing to hook onto whoever’s coat tails and bring it to you.
Elijah spent most of his campaign talking about all the allegations against Cory Mills, but is more than willing to take the support from a guy that has many of the same allegations against him.
No wonder why people hate politicians. They just can’t stand for what’s right.
Thanks to Florida rigging the districts, Elijah is all but assured to win the election and send another power hungry man to DC.
