FTVLive previously reported that former WJBK (Detroit) Anchor Taryn Asher is suing the Fox O&O, after she was fired.

Asher claims discrimination, saying that her male colleagues were treated better and paid more. The station claims that Asher was unprofessional and made derogatory remarks to her colleagues.

Asher's attorney, Tad Roumayah, tells Deadline Detroit:

"We disagree and Miss Asher vehemently denies that she engaged in any such 'outbursts' or 'unprofessional conduct' that warranted discipline, especially in light of Fox's admission in its own filings that multiple male employees had engaged in misconduct, including in the workplace, but were not fired."
