Rollover Crash

Over at Nexstar’s WTNH (New Haven) meteorologist Joe Furey had a scare, after being involved in a rollover crash on Thursday morning.

The station says that Furey’s news vehicle was hit by another car, and the SUV flipped over several times. He was wearing his seatbelt.

The station reports that Furey was okay after the crash.

The station writes, “The Storm Team 8 weather vehicle is badly damaged. We’re told several bystanders stopped to help Joe get to safety.”

You needed bystanders to tell you the vehicle was badly damaged? You could just look at the picture and figure that out?
