Nexstar Tells Court to Approve the Tegna Merger

Nexstar submitted its reply brief to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

The company wants the court to significantly narrow a nationwide preliminary injunction that currently blocks Nexstar from taking full control of Tegna.

The filing comes in the appeal of a district court order from the Eastern District of California that is stopping Nexstar from completing the acquisition.

Nexstar then took to social to try and sway the public’s opinion in their favor.

At least one viewer is not buying what the suits at Nexstar are trying to sell.
