Shake Up at The Firm's LA Station

TTwo sources tell FTVLive about a newsroom shake-up at the KTTV, the Fox O&O in LA.

Word is that the station has a new news boss. KTVU (Oakland) VP of News, Simone Aponte, will be overseeing KTTV. She will continue to be the VP of News at KTVU, while also overseeing The Firm’s LA station.

KTTV’s current VP of News, Bobbi Gearhart, has been demoted but stays on at the station as the “Director of Content and Operations" (whatever the hell that is?).

Word is that the Assistant News Director was kicked to the curb, since that will basically be the job that Gearhart is now doing, although with a fancier title.
