Have you ever noticed that people who leave Fox News seem to blast the network after they are gone, much more than those who leave other networks or stations.

Take former Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean, for example, who recently took to X to air some serious dirty laundry regarding the network's shifting political allegiances and internal directives.

According to Dean, before former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo—once considered a prime villain in the Fox News universe—launched his 2025 NYC mayoral bid, he was a frequent guest at the network's headquarters.

"He was coming into the building where I worked fairly often for some ‘meetings.’ That’s around the same time I was told I could no longer talk about him on air/social media etc,” Dean wrote on X.

When she pushed back and asked management what she was supposed to do about the sudden gag order, the response was swift and cold.

“When I asked what I should do, I was told ‘you can quit,’” she shared.

Dean, who lost her husband’s parents to COVID-19 in New York nursing homes during Cuomo’s tenure as governor, spent years as a prominent vocal critic of his administration—an effort that Fox News heavily encouraged on-air for a long time.

“I could not believe that after years and years of being encouraged to talk about the deaths of my husband’s parents during Covid I was now being told that I could always leave if I didn’t like Cuomo being in the building for meetings and as a guest on all the shows,” Dean added.

It’s just the latest chapter in a long-running trend: once the talent walks out the front door at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, the gloves come off.
