When Anchors Fight on Social Media

An absolute battle for the skies just went down in Southwest Florida. It started when Gulf Coast News anchor Peter Busch posted a photo of a Cape Coral tornado. Enter rival WINK News meteorologist Lauren Kreidler, who publicly called the image fake.

Busch didn’t let it slide. He fired back on Facebook, calling out a certain rival (without naming names) for publicly attacking his journalistic integrity. The blowback was immediate. Kreidler quickly deleted her post, but the comment section had already spoken. It’s a rookie mistake for the young meteorologist, who just learned a tough, public lesson in media etiquette.
