Enjoy Your Emmy Salad

A few days ago, FTVLive told you that the Central Great Lakes Emmys were not live streamed this year, because the event did not sell out.

They did do some coverage from the “red carpet” but not the awards show itself.

While FTVLive has harped on the Emmys for years, we’re not going to do that. We are going to share an email from someone who attended the award show, for their very first time.

I just wanted to submit this because it is so unbelievable and I can't help but laugh every time I look at the pictures. 

A ticket to the ceremony for the Central Great Lakes Emmys cost on average $200. Attached is the insane idea of what these people -- either the organization or the caterers -- think a salad is. A handful of spinach, and three slices of a strawberry. But don't worry, there was plenty of strawberry dressing you could add on top! Without even considering the gray pork that you needed a hand saw to cut; definitely not an experience worth shelling out a good portion of a paycheck for. 

This was my first Emmy ceremony and I understand now why no one is going anymore. I very happily left after I lost my individual nomination and went to a local food truck for a better, cheaper meal.
