Getting Out of the Business

6 years ago, Amanda Crawford jumped from WYFF in Greenville, SC and landed in Boston.

Less than a year into her job at WHDH, she was bumped up from Reporter to Anchor.

Many dream on anchoring the news in a market the size of Boston and for 5 years, Crawford lived that dream.

But, coming Friday, she is leaving the anchor desk, the TV station and the business altogether.

It is a senecio that we seem to see playing out more and more.
